We AR Queer
Cultivate Connection in Queer Community
Authentic Relating & Conscious Connection Events for LGBTQIA+ Folks
Imagine stepping into a space where you don’t have to explain yourself—where queerness isn’t just accepted, but celebrated. A room filled with people who just get it, where eye contact feels electric, laughter flows freely, and deep conversations are the norm.
Co-created by Ash Witham and Sophia Morgan, We AR Queer was born from a simple belief: queer folks deserve spaces where connection is intentional, empowering, and nourishing. We wanted to offer an alternative to the usual nightlife scene—creating a space to build deep, meaningful relationships while equipping each of us with the tools to express ourselves fully and connect in a way that feels real.
At We AR Queer, you get to drop the small talk and step into something deeper. Through intentional frameworks, practice, and play within a vibrant community, our events are a place to feel seen, safe, and authentically you.
Whether you're craving community, meaningful conversations, or a chance to practice vulnerability, you're in the right place. No matter if you're brand new to Authentic Relating or a seasoned connection nerd, attending solo or rolling deep with friends—our events are designed to leave you with fresh insights, practical tools, and lasting connection.
What is Authentic Relating?
Authentic Relating (AR) is a transformative framework for deepening connection—starting with yourself. Through authentic expression, active listening, empathy, and attunement, AR gives you the tools to cultivate trust, enrich relationships, and bring more aliveness into every interaction.
When we integrate AR into our lives, we step into deeper trust, more meaningful connection, and greater fulfillment. And let’s be honest—who wouldn’t want that?
What happens at We AR Queer?
Each workshop unfolds with a unique arc of guided exercises and discussions. Through partnered and group practices, you’ll gain personal insight, relational awareness, and hands-on experience using powerful communication tools that foster authentic and meaningful connection. No two workshops are exactly the same, but every time, you’ll walk away feeling more connected—to yourself and to queer community.
